Little Carlos {7 days new}

Hello. I am just now settling down to the computer to post my last session. Monday morning I spent a good part of the day with Little Carlos. He is a beautiful baby boy with dark thick hair that already parts to one side...{giggle}. He was such a sweetie. He was awake and asleep all at just the right times. I was able to snap some snuggly sleeping pics and some wide eyed ones too. I really enjoyed spending time with this family. They have such a warm welcoming home.
I was so tickled to see Ashley's maternity pictures around the house too. It means so much to me when my client-friends enjoy the images from our session together. You can see her maternity session here.

Twins!

Welcome Brooklyn & Beckham! These sweet 2 week old twins were just the picture of perfection. Both brother & sister slept practically the whole time during our shoot. Visiting this family's home was so delightful. Just watching Brooklyn & Beckham's mommy and daddy work together as a team to feed the twins, love on them, and change diapers...it warmed my heart. Capturing this family was such a pleasure. I could feel the love that God has poured over this family. Brooklyn & Beckham definitely liked being close to one another, which was so sweet. They just looked more comfy when they were nestled together. It was such a blessing to meet them and capture this precious moment in their lives. Thank you Gray Family! Y'all are a beautiful family.

Lillie Kate

This little Newborn Session/Playdate was so much fun! One of the great things about being back in Florida is that I get to reconnect with old friends. My friend Wendy, who I've known since high school, just had her 5th baby. Yes, I said FIFTH! The most recent addition is Lillie Kate. I had the pleasure of taking her newborn pictures while Julian & Abbie played and watched Go, Diego Go! Above are a few teasers from our time together. I can't wait to edit the rest. Hope you all like them. Oh, and Wendy,...Julian ate the cold fries when we got home. He wouldn't stop asking last night, "Mommy, where Abbie?" We will definitely have to do this again :) Love you, friend!



Sweet Caroline!

Hello there! My apologies for not getting this post up last night. A mighty thunder & lightning storm came to our area and I was without electricity until 10pm. So, without further ado...I'd like to introduce this lovely family who welcomed a baby girl in early May. Sweet Caroline has the most beautiful blue eyes. There is no shortness on love in this family. The family dog, Duke, was even excited about me taking pictures ;-)  Ainsley, Chris, and big sister Taylor were all so helpful and patient with me as I made suggestions, rearranged some furniture (thanks Chris), and shot some pics. I hope you like your little sneak peek. Thank you for allowing me to bring my baby boy...and thank you for the sweet tea. Yummy!

Miss Molly Miller

Happy Sunday and Happy Father's Day! I am so excited to share this newborn shoot with you. Miss Molly Miller was such a sweet baby girl this afternoon. Her mom, Bethany, is a friend of mine from church. Sweet Molly is 8 days old and just a tiny little thing. So tiny in fact that I had to fold over the top of my cocoon so that I could see her little head peek out. She slept the whole time too! Newborns do the cutest things when they're sleeping and Molly was no exception. This session was such a joy for me to do. Thank you Bethany & Tim for inviting me to take Molly's pictures...and thanks for letting me bring little John. I hope you enjoy your sneak peek.

My Little One Month Baby Boy

Little is actually a bit of a sentiment. I took John to the Dr for his one month check-up and he is anything BUT little. Doc says that John sizes up and acts more like a 2 month old than a 1 month old. When I shared this info. with my hubby, his response was, "That's my boy!". We are so proud. Well, here are a couple of photos I took of John a couple of days ago.

Hello All! I would like to introduce my new little man, John Conlan. He is the most precious baby boy. We feel so blessed to have him here, healthy and beautiful. God is so good! There are many changes and new adventures on the horizon for the Drake Family. I will keep you all posted. All I can say right now is that when you allow God control of your life, He certainly doesn't disappoint. Your life will be full and the ride will be thrilling. He wants to bless us abundantly; the Lord loves to see His children happy & thriving.

The pleasures of photographing a Newborn!

Christian was such a sweet baby boy today. He is 2 weeks and is the second son of my friend, Amber. Little man is very strong. Every time I tried to pose him he would stick his head straight up and look around; he even lifted up on his elbows. Its no lie! Christian is a strong little guy for a mere 2 weeks in the world. I stepped into a nursery filled with Georgia Bulldog paraphernalia. Goodness gracious! I was surrounded by red, black, and white. For a Gator fan, that is pretty shocking. Its all in good fun though. All joking aside...

Little Christian is nothing short of a miracle. When Amber went in for a routine sonogram, the family was faced with the possibility that Christian might have some sort of problem in the heart region. There was a spot that the doctors just couldn't figure out. Well, after months of praying, a healthy delivery, and a superb infant check-up, little Christian is a happy, healthy, and very well newborn. Nothing came of that little spot the doctors couldn't figure out. Praise God!

Prayers are powerful and effective. Our Creator is a good and loving God. If it matters to you, it matters to Him. Keep praying!

The Baker Family

I had a great time with the Baker family on Sunday afternoon. The Bakers left their Christmas tree up for this photo occasion...and what a beautiful tree it was :) This family is very gifted and talented. Mama is from Brazil and talks to her girls in Portuguese. It is the neatest thing to me. I wish I knew a foreign language fluently. What a special gift to give to your children. Daddy is a musician and band director at FPD. I caught a couple shots of Isabella and Daddy playing together. Sweet moments. The Bakers also have a new addition to their family. Her name is Sophia. Sophia is one month old, so we had to take some newborn shots as well. She was such a good little model for me. I hope y'all enjoy the preview. I will have the rest up for you to view this afternoon. I sure enjoyed my time spent in your beautiful home.

The Reeves Family

Today I had the pleasure of sharing special moments with the Reeves Family. Emma Grace is in my MMO class; she is just too precious for words. Emma just became a big sister. Three weeks ago the Reeves' welcomed Olivia to their family. Olivia is a beautiful newborn baby girl. I was welcomed this afternoon into their home to take some Christmas and Newborn pictures. The Christmas tree was up and lovely scented candles filled the air while Holiday music played in the background. I was instantly swept into the Christmas spirit.
