Lily Grace ~ 3.5 months

This morning I had the privilege of photographing Lily Grace. She is 3.5 months and the youngest of 3 girls. I'll tell you it is truly a small world because our families know each other. The place where we took pictures is right next door to where my grandparents' used to live for like 20+ years. The grounds, yard, and character of this place is very nostalgic for me. Watching Lily's older sisters reminded me so much of me & my sister as young girls exploring out in nature to collect flowers, leaves, and feathers.
Lily Grace was such a little sweetie. Towards the end of our shoot she was showing off a little bit with her ability to push herself up. Amazing for a 3 month old, but she has to be able to keep up with her big sisters. Thank you, Stephanie, for allowing me to capture this precious moment. Looking forward to getting to know your family more.

Jaxson is ONE!

Today has been a beautiful Saturday, perfect for a photo session. Meet Jaxson; he is turning ONE! Isn't he the cutest! Jaxson is a fast mover and an excellent model, so we were able to shoot and pose all in about 30 minutes!!! I was amazed. That's record time. This session is so special to me because Jaxson belongs to a new friend of mine, Lindsay. I hope you enjoy the sneak peek. I'll post the gallery very soon. Thank you so much for the opportunity to photograph Jaxson!

Christelle & Bruno {Engaged}

Christelle & Bruno with their furry family members :)

Christelle was my very best friend in grade school. I was so honored when she asked me to photograph her and Bruno for their engagement. Today, we met at her parents' house. When entering it brought back so many childhood memories with Christelle, like Girl Scouts, and gymnastics, and playing dress-up. It was so fun to reminisce.
Anway, this is about THEM! Christelle & Bruno met through a mutual friend and co-worker while out one night celebrating Christelle's birthday. They've been together ever since. They are quite the adventurers too; they've visited different countries and cities together including Bruno's native Brazil. I couldn't be happier for Christelle & Bruno. I cannot wait until the big day in April! Congratulations to both of you :)
Above, you'll see a few of my favorites from our session. Deciding which ones to post was very difficult because I love all of them. I hope you guys like the sneak peek. There is more to come, so I'll let you know when your gallery is up.
Thank you again for allowing me to capture this precious moment. May the Lord bless you & keep you. May His face shine upon you and your marriage.

Team Bella!

Bella the beautiful black Labrador, that is. Bella is just a pup, but she sure is active. It was a workout to keep up with her. Puppies don't stay little forever, so Mike & Kasey wanted to document her sweet inquisitive puppy stage. There were dogs all over the park this afternoon and Bella wanted to get to know each one. Hope these images were what y'all were looking for. Love you guys!

Motivation for Monday!

Happy Monday!
My friend, Sarah {above}, is also a photographer. We met up at a park in Boca Raton to take some shots of each other. It was such a fun experience. I first met Sarah on facebook. I became a big fan of her photography style. She photographed a family friend's engagement and wedding. She is very talented. Sarah has become a fast friend and mentor. Sharing ideas, dreams, past mistakes, and tricks/tips with someone in your profession is definitely beneficial. However, photography is not the only thing we share. We also share mommy stories and we share our love for Jesus. It is a blessing from God to have a friend you can share the treasures of your heart with. Sarah, thank you for your kindness, generosity, and friendship. I am so excited to see where the Lord takes you next.

Ecclesiastes 4:9, 10a ~ Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their work: If one falls down, his friend can help him up.

Have yourself a Merry "Little" Christmas!

Today is known as Little Christmas. When we went by the Julian Calendar, Christmas was celebrated on this day, January 6th. Today is also known as the celebration of the Epiphany, a celebration of the revelation of the Son of God as a human being. It commemorates the visitation of the Magi to Baby Jesus and the Baptism of Jesus in the Jordan River. I hope you will have a Merry Little Christmas! I put together a couple collages from our Christmas in Florida with the family. Cheers to a New Year full of happiness and new adventures!
