Motivation for Monday!

ISAIAH 46:4 ~ Even to your old age and gray hairs I am He, I am He who will sustain you. I have made you and I will carry you; I will sustain you and I will rescue you.

So many people going through various trials need to know and feel that God cares about what they are dealing with in life. One of the many amazing mysteries of God is that He is everywhere all at once. He is on His throne in heaven. He is strengthening you with an encouraging word. He is holding your hand. He is lifting you up. He is right there counting each tear that falls. He is close to the poor and brokenhearted. He is with you. God is your Sustainer and your Rescuer. He is there, right there with you now. I pray that you will feel His presence and know that He cares for you so deeply and loves you so lavishly. Be encouraged today my friend.

Motivation for Monday!

Psalm 37:5,6 ~ Commit your way to the Lord; trust in Him, and He will act, making your righteousness shine like the dawn, your justice like the noonday.

Have you ever driven east on a highway towards the sunrise? Man, that sun is bright! As the sun rises, the beams of light glare on your windshield. There is no doubt that you'll need both your sunglasses AND your visor. Or maybe you've been outside at noon. The sun is straight up in the middle of the sky and beats down on your head. It's pretty bright then too, isn't it. Shadows are barely cast anywhere at noon because of the positioning of the sun.
Friend, read that promise again. The Lord will make your righteousness and your justice as bright as the sun during the brightest times of the day. How beautiful. How wonderful. How awesome. To me, its romantic. I love this promise and I am claiming this one over me and my family. Thank you Lord for Your goodness!

Motivation for Monday!

Psalm 5:3 ~ At daybreak, Lord, You hear my voice; at daybreak I plead my case to You and watch expectantly.

It has everything to do with faith...have faith that the Lord hears your prayers and requests. Have faith that the Lord cares deeply about the desires of your heart. Have faith that the God of the Universe is working behind the scenes on your behalf. Look at creation; consider the complexity of our bodies. God is a perfectionist, a show-off, even. He pays attention to every single detail. Trust that the Lord is taking care of every detail and that He doesn't want to reveal His plan until everything is exactly the way He wants it. And you know what, friend? Your faith can be great or as small as a mustard seed and God will still work for the good of those who love Him. Thank you Lord for the promises we can claim in our lives. Thank you for Your love and for Your care to each and every detail pertaining to my life. You are God and I am grateful for all You do to show Your love.
Happy Monday!

Motivation for Monday and/or Happy Hump Day?

Can you believe it? I did it again. Here it is Wednesday and I am just now typing my {Motivation for Monday} blog post. As I type I have 2 little men sitting on the floor. One is asking me to play choo-choos and the other one is scooting around the room to test that I inserted each electrical socket with a baby proof plug while jabbering, "dadda-dadda". I love being a mom and its these times that I am able to sit, listen, and watch my boys, really observe them and appreciate them. Mind you, it is 7:10am. I have been up since 5:44am. And I do this with coffee in hand. Must Have Coffee! So I apologize again for being late with the motivation this week. Enough chattering; let's get to the good stuff.

II Corinthians 5:17~ Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!

I just love this verse. The promise of becoming a new creation when we accept Jesus as our Savior is a great treasure of encouragement. We don't have to try with our own strength anymore. We are now equip with His strength. The old person, the old way of life, is gone. Yes, praise the Lord! We grow and continue to change our hearts, minds, attitudes during our daily walk & talk with Christ. I hope you've talked to Him today. He is waiting to meet with you to share glorious riches that can be found in His Word. Have a Blessed Day and a Happy Hump Day!
