Spring Photo Shoot

Hello All!

March 20th is the official first day of spring in 2010. I am very excited to be offering KDP's very first Easter Photo Shoot, Easter Baskets & Bunny Rabbits. The name is inspired by my first ever spring shoots from last year with Isabella, Gabriel & Isaac (shown above).

The shoot, weather permitting, will be outside in one of the Providence common areas. This Spring Special is $75 and includes a 20 min. photo session, Online Photo Gallery, and a sweet little picture package that you can customize with your choice of images taken during your session. Come dressed in your Sunday best or in bright casual wear. The kids can bring their Easter Baskets, favorite stuffed animal, or your family pet. Let's have some fun with it!

Please contact me for your scheduled time slot.

Girls Rock!

I spent the early afternoon with my friend, Crissy and her beautiful girls, Ryleigh & Raegan. Ryleigh is celebrating her 4th birthday & Raegan is celebrating 9 mos. These girls have grown so much I just can't believe it. Raegan was first up in front of the camera. She is always smiling for me. I barely have to move her, she does her own cute little thing. Ryleigh couldn't wait for it to be her turn, which I was so delighted about. Mama curled her pretty blond locks and put her special birthday t-shirt on that says, 4 Rocks! She sure did "rock" her pictures today. I am so proud of her. Crissy, hope you enjoy the sneak peek. God surely blessed us with a great session today.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Galatians 5:22~ But the fruit of the Spirit is love...

Good morning to all! I hope this special day brings much love and joy to your life. This post is for all the lovers I have photographed. The love that is shared between a couple that God has brought together is unmatched to anything on earth. For those who may not have a significant other to share this Lover's Holiday with, know that there is a Heavenly Father who thinks you are the greatest thing. Why? Because He created you! Also, His Son, Jesus, thinks you were worth dying for because He just couldn't spend eternity without you. I pray that the love of the Father and the Son will follow you today, will lift you up, will encourage you, will wrap around you.

John 3:16~ For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Self-Portrait & A Reflection

Well, today's post is another "self-portrait". I couldn't think of another creative "self-portrait" pose, so we have yet another face shot. A more serious one at that. Hope my photography class doesn't mind repetitive shots :)

Just a reflection for the day:
I've been reading Dear John by Nicholas Sparks. What a great book. A heart breaker, bittersweet. I admire Mr. Sparks for putting God and Jesus in his books. More often than not, one of his characters is a believer. I love that. Anyway, reading this book has made me realize something about myself and about my everyday life. I want to praise God for the mundane. Yes, you heard me right. The everyday routine; the uneventful rituals that take up most of my days. Why? Well, because as I write this I'm looking to my left and I see my husband on the floor playing with our son. Julian has his action figures in his little toddler hands. He is having the best time running to & fro with trails of giggles that are contagious. The TV is on the news. Our feline friends are nestled on the couch. We just finished eating dinner. Even though I still have to clean up the kitchen, right now it doesn't bother me. I love my life. This is the life that the Lord has blessed me with and I am so thankful. Lord, don't let me lose sight of the mini-miracles of my everyday life. I encourage those who read this to take a closer look at your everyday life. There are blessings surrounding you and the God of our Universe delights in giving them to you. Savour each moment, the special occasions and the mundane alike. Blessings to you!

Self-Portrait

I totally skipped last week with posting for my class. This weeks' theme is "Self-Portrait" and must show an image of myself. This is going to be a challenge for me, but I think I'm up for it. I will post 3 images today. One I took Sunday, another I shot yesterday, and the other I snapped today with the help of my trusty assistant, Sir Julian. I am enjoying this class, even though I don't get to see my classmates face to face (everything is online). The weeks' theme will give me an oportunity to put the names with faces with photos :)
