It's raining; it's pouring! The 'Ole Lady is Editing!

Hello there! I hope everyone is having a restful Memorial Day weekend. Is it just me, or does it rain every Memorial Day? Well, thank goodness because the rain has allowed me to get some much needed work done inside :)
If you frequent my website, you probably know that Collages and Storyboards are among the specialty products I offer. I've been busy at creating examples to give you a visual. I got these really cool designs from Rita at Coffee Shop, a very talented photographer and designer. Above, you will find 2 collages. Both are 11 x 14 in size. I will be working on other sizes and variations to post later. Stay tuned!

3 weeks of Precious Baby Girl!

Although today was a rainy day outside, it was sunny inside this warm home with precious Emersyn. She is 3 weeks old and is a strong little girl. Emersyn was just raising her head wanting to know what that flashing light was. Mama was close by making sure her little girl was warm and content. Emersyn was quite the model today; I am pleased with the photos we were able to capture and am looking forward to editing the rest. Jennifer, I hope you and your family enjoy these 2 teasers :) Thank you for inviting me into your lovely home to take Emersyn's pictures. I enjoyed our time together this morning. God Bless!

7 hours old!

Raegan was born yesterday, but when I visited her last night and captured a few shots she was only 7 hours old. She is 7lbs. & 8oz. of Baby Girl Angel! Mama, Crissy, is doing great. How thankful I am to have been able to experience this whole pregnancy with Crissy. I remember when she told us in September on a girls' retreat that she was expecting her 2nd babe...and now her little girl is here. When you hold a newborn and look closely at all their itty-bitty parts, it's amazing to know it only takes 9 months. God is so wonderful and I am in awe of all His creation.

33 weeks & Counting...

Holly is such a joy to be around. What a contagious smile...and funny; the girl is funny. There is no doubt she has that "pregnancy glow" about her. She and her husband are expecting their first, a baby boy, the first week in July. Today was the perfect day to have a session outside. Even though the clouds were threatening rain, we got some great shots. Holly is a trooper too; she bounced all over the neighborhood with me, in heels, no less. Thank you, Holly, for a lovely session this morning. I do hope you find that these photographs are just what you hoped for. And I am looking forward to meeting Ethan! In His Love, Karrie

Henry & Rose

The Lord giveth! After many attempts at getting together for a session with her sweet children, today was THE day. Even after a thunderstorm last night, the ground dried up pretty fast for our session this morning. Thank you, Lord. Mary, God made it worth the wait. I hope you find some special moments here. I so enjoyed our time together. Henry & Rose are darling siblings. Looking forward to meeting #3 :) I will work on the editing this evening, so everything should be up by tomorrow a.m. Thank you. A Tribute to Mom...

Happy Mother's Day! Being a mommy is something so dear to my heart. I feel so blessed that the Lord saw fit to make me one despite my flaws & shortcomings. Julian, I love you son. You are truly my whole world!
I wanted to thank the mommies whom I've photographed with their precious babies. The following are a couple of my favorites. I look forward to adding to this collection :)
I feel an urging from the Holy Spirit to mention Hannah. Those of you who are not yet mothers, don't give up praying. Hannah wept much but she also prayed so fervently and the Lord blessed her with Samuel, (I Samuel 1:20). God is loving and gracious. His desire for you is far more than you can fathom. Not knowing who you might be or why the Lord asked me to share this, I will pray for you and ask Him to remember you as He did Hannah. God bless you sisters and your children. Have a wonderful Mother's Day!
